Exploration is the first of the roadmap’s four sequential stages. During exploration you will assemble a district team to explore exactly what your district wants to accomplish and why. The exploration section offers tools that will support you to: form your team, make data-based decisions, and evaluate your district’s readiness to embark on the journey to sustainable change.
Exploration occurs well before your new initiative is implemented and will require numerous meetings to identify an initiative, assess its fit and feasibility within your district, as well as how it will be effectively implemented. While it’s natural to be anxious and excited to start planning your journey, it takes time to complete the exploration processes, but it is time well spent that research supports saves both time and money long-term.
